What you will do

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team;

  • Act as a servant leader, supporting the development team by removing impediments and creating a productive work environment;

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to define, prioritize, and refine the product backlog, ensuring the team is focused on delivering value;

  • Increase site performance, capacity, and security by ensuring that requirements, design, testing, and implementation improve our posture in these areas;

  • Demonstrate accountability by understanding and performing roles, ensuring backups are available as needed;

  • Facilitate the management and burn down of the Program Backlog, including architectural, technical debt, and process items;

  • Provide excellent customer service by managing metrics, driving program improvements, and increasing customer satisfaction scores;

  • Efficiently address questions from product and portfolio teams, tracking issues to resolution;

  • Lead and facilitate critical team-level agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint demos, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups;

  • Balance scrum process enforcement with collaboration, adapting the agile framework to fit the team’s culture and environment;

  • Guide multiple teams through all sprints/iterations and phases of the project, using Agile/Scrum methodologies for enterprise software development projects;

  • Work with management, business, marketing, and technology leaders to create a cohesive project vision and team charter;

  • Organize, facilitate, and provide direction during project planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, sprint/release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meetings;

  • Assist teams in making appropriate commitments through Epic selection, Story assignments, and Task definition;

  • Coordinate with other project teams and departments to deliver critical projects on time;

  • Monitor and report on key Agile performance metrics to the leadership team;

  • Maintain agile tracking systems to ensure transparency on product and sprint backlogs, resource allocation, and capacity planning;

  • Ensure development teams are practicing core agile principles and following established product development procedures and guidelines;

  • Work alongside key stakeholders to define and implement new product development processes and continuously improve existing ones to boost team productivity;

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to help the organization transition to a more Agile/Scrum environment;

  • Assist in training team members and other employees on Agile and Design Thinking concepts to maximize their benefits;

  • Manage the scrum process by coordinating the scrum team using Agile methodology.

What you should bring

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum methodologies;

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams and stakeholders;

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues;

  • Experience working with software development teams and understanding technical processes;

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments, with a focus on delivering results;

  • A collaborative and empathetic mindset, committed to building strong, cohesive teams;

  • Experience in driving continuous improvement and coaching teams to adopt agile best practices;

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
